All of the President's men
The naming of the Stena President at Brodosplit, Croatia represented a high point both for the shipyard and Croatian shipbuilding, especially at a time when competition from East Asia is particularly intense, writes John McLaughlin. Workers and management were all smiles as the Stena President was rolled off the blocks. It is the fifth ship in a ten-ship order for Stena's Concordia Maritime. The product tankers are being built using Stena's revolutionary P-Max design, and also incorporate superior environmental stewardship.
