Stena Vision - Stena Victory

Concordia Maritime’s two advanced Stena V-Max tankers, Stena Vision and Stena Victory were delivered from Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard in South Korea last year. The crude oil tankers are designed to meet the requirements of increased safety, competitive fuel consumption and extended ship life. The vessels are the result of five years of research, design and planning in the Stena Technical Division in close co-operation with Concordia Maritime, Stena Bulk, DNV, ABS, SSPA Maritime Consultancy of Gotheburg, Sun Oil Company and the shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries. The tankers have double hull design features and are equipped with two separate engines in two separate engine rooms. The V-Max is designed to combat any single type of system failure.
